I have a blind cat who suddenly became a fierce lap cat the day before I found out I was pregnant. She never, ever sat on my lap or anyone else's before that. I spent much of that pregnancy on bedrest with her snuggled against my belly. When we brought the baby home she ran over to the car seat, while our other cat slinked off, completely traumatized. Chloe the cat and my 4 yo are best buddies. It's amazing. Animals know.

Our Kevin is acutely aware of when people should be home and if I leave after dark he is very worried. I rarely leave after dark so if I do I have been told he meows a lot and paces💔 Since he rarely meows it’s obvious he is worried. He’s the most family oriented cat I have ever met! He is happiest when we are all in the same room💗 When one of us is not home beyond what is normal he notices immediately. If I leave the house in a rush or leave upset my husband has told me he gets very upset. Kevin is family. We are blessed to be his guardians and to have his trust. He is an individual with his own glorious spirit and self✨ He is family. We are blessed!
