I just love him. I really love the honesty in his voice..the pain. I imagine if he wasn't in a tiny cell (falsely acciused) most of his life, living in unsanitary conditions such as prisons are, was able to collaborate, get the best of everything..these haters online wouldn't be saying terrible things about him. I happen to think his tone and his voice is gorgeous. He proved that when he sang this song and when he sang with the Pastor. He is a wonderful singer!! Simon knew it! God bless Archie. Since the flawed judicial system unjustly prosecuted this man and stole most of his life, he should be more than compensated by those responsible. Okay, can we judge people by their talent and not their history!!! Everyone has had horrible things happen to them, it's just that some people choose to get by on their talent alone when others wear their troubles as a medal to gain sympathy votes. Yes, i think his story is sad but someone who doesn't walk around telling people their sad stories is no more less than someone that does. It's a shame these show exploit sad situations in peoples lives for ratings instead of focusing on their talent.

Just think if none of this had happened for him. He is so worthy of this praise and freedom. Never forget the other people still in Angola, and countless other prison systems because of socio-economic disadvantages. Even for the some of the guilty they are serving sentences that far exceed the crime. A man in Louisiana, just found out he will in fact spend his whole life in Angola because of 3 time loser laws for stealing lawn equipment. This isnt America, if it only exists for some people who look a certain way or come from teh right place. :( Congrats Archie on your successes.
