When I seen the arms being frozen and ripped off, I was psyched and thought this was going to a be just like the classic good old days. But then, as the trailer progressed, I got disappointed and don't know if I want to see the movie, now. Scorpion looks like a wimp and his "get over here" was weak. With the exceptions of Sub-Zero and Jax, everyone else looks weak. And Moral Kombat is not Mortal Kombat without Sheeva, as she is one of the veteran characters in the entire franchise.

Everyone got to 1:50 into the trailer is it just me or does that hook sword scream Kabal or possibly noob with different weapon and also did anyone else see smoke or was that someone else it was a few seconds before where the kabal looking guy shows up. At 1:28 one of Kitanna’s fans are on a stand. (I know I probably spelled all the names wrong)

I looked up a few actors from this and the actor for Sub Zero (Joe Taslim) a really dope martial artist actor. Played in the night comes for us on Netflix, raid 2 and other great movies. With that being said this is definitely not going to be your typical water down fight movie. This will definitely be good action movie. Only wish Donnie Yen was in the movie 💯

People complaining about the "Get over here" need to remember one thing.... It's not going to sound like it did in the game. The games voice actor did not have a Japanese accent and the actor playing Scorpion does....so why would it sound the same?

That scene where Sub Zero freezes the blood spurt and stabs Scorpion with it is pretty fuckin cool. Hopefully the CGI was cleaned up a bit in post production, tho

Everyone is overreacting with this film. It's gonna be the same stuff just with blood and less cool music :D We don't need the origin stories about some youngsters who ain't even in the game! Why is Sub-Zero introducing himself to Scorpion!? I mean all of them for that matter! Hiroyuki Sanada and Joe Taslim are both pretty good but they ain't buffed enough to fill up those costumes! I doubt this movie will kick off a franchise or be good at all! I hope I'm wrong tho

"get over here" needs to be crisper and more demanding. Like a drill sargent said it. Scorpion is supposed to be a cursed undead oni type not someone that drunkenly threw up in their mouth while politely asking someone to "get over here" it needs to snap and crack like the bones he breaks. He's iconic and instead he sounds like a background character that you wouldn't take seriously.

People talking about the get over here part, like he’s obviously an Asian character, probably has an Asian accent all movie and all y’all want him to stay it in perfect English, I think it was really great

I guess this wont be a good movie, but since the people doing the fights and effects seem to be having at least some fun doing their thing I believe it will be pardoned and accepted like the first movie.

I wonder if some of the characters will have a short but straight to the point orgin story I mean look at Jax when he in the car he got human arms but in then sub zero explode them then he got the metal arms. Also if I never played the story mode and I was never into the lore I just like playing MK for fun.
