The Boston Celtics Have A BIG PROBLEM...

SUBSCRIBE to my second channel: grgone.info/will/mOB-kWSOhLia1KM/b-nteo
Down by 15 in the third quarter- Jayson Tatum is gonna iso right here, goes to the basket and throws up a tough shot. From there, both him and the rest of the Celtics are kind of jogging back as if they’re the ones with the big lead. And right here you have a situation where 4 guys are basically watching the ball. Hachimura uses that and just runs to the basket, has a wide open lane and easily dunks it.
Stevens calls a time out, but coming out of it Boston commits 4 straight turnovers in consecutive possessions.
This type of effort and the loss to the last placed Washington is a culmination of Boston’s horrible form recently, and after starting the season 8-3, they are now looking awful- winning just 5 out of the last 15 games.
What is the problem all of a sudden? Let me share my thoughts and try to answer that. What up everybody my name is Stefan and this is Heat Check. Let’s get into it.
After the game one thing that stood out to me was Jaylen Brown’s response to a question about the lack of ball movement.
The Celtics are second to last in the league in assists, and to a degree that’s by design. When you have athletic wings who can hit shots like Tatum and Brown, as well as a shifty guard like Kemba, I guess you allow them to do their thing from time to time.
But being on the bottom of the list, combined with that long pause and no comment by Jaylen… it seems like he is holding something back. Is this a bit of a chemistry issue?
And that seems more realistic after Kemba was asked about possibly holding a players only meeting. Something that he dismissed as ineffective.
Speaking of Walker tho, excluding the last couple of games- he seems to be 1 of the main problems for this team
At 16 points per game and shooting an awful 36 and a half percent from the field, he is nowhere near the key piece that could help Boston get to the finals.
The coming back from injury excuse can only be used for so long. He needs to be held accountable for his play.
And yeah the Celtics were missing Tatum for some time, as well as Marcus Smart for the past 2 weeks, but I feel like the rest of the team should be better than a 13 and 13 record. Which leads me to my next point.
Boston’s bench is second to last in the league when it comes to bench points.
So for a team that has high hopes and expectations of winning the East, the Celtics sure have a lot of holes to fill both from some of the bench guys, as well as some of the main players.
And that takes us to my final question. Is Danny Ainge finally ready to pull the trigger on a big trade?
A few days ago, Kevin O’Connor from The Ringer posted this, saying that there are talks around the league that this team is looking to make some moves. Well from that post on Saturday, they went 1-4, so now there’s definitely way more sense of urgency to do something and try to upgrade this roster.
I’m excited for these young wings to finally be able to get to the next level, but without some help, at 13-13 at the moment, that feels like a fantasy for them.
Let me know in the comments who you think is a potential target for the Celtics. That’s it for now. Subscribe and talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

The Celtics have a small problem. Actually they have a Smart problem. They are missing Marcus Smart the best defensive guard in the league. Without him their defense has been poor to say the least. So on nights where they're not firing on all cylinders offensively, they can get blown out by bad teams. And it's better to have this problem now then at the end of the year, when games count. Last time I looked they were 4 and 1/2 games out of first in the east. That is not bad considering how poorly they have played. The Celtics play has been so bad since Marcus Smart has been out, the 76ers should have a 10-game lead on them. They are a dangerous team that gets overlooked every season, but somehow they seem to make it to the Conference Finals almost every season when are people going to stop over looking the Celtics? Like I said it's early in the year and they're not really even in bad shape. Look what Miami did at the end of the season last year. Would any analyst at all not have been laughed out of the building if they suggested Miami was going to be in the finals before the All-Star break last season? Like I said take a look at how many Conference Finals the Celtics have been in, in just the Last 5 Years. Why are we not reading about San Antonio, Golden State, Toronto or Miami being in trouble? they should have Danny Angels head on a pike for his comments about his team as of late. Does he really believe that's going to motivate them? It's going to motivate his Stars to demand a trade! he can be a total Egghead hey Danny wasted two #14 overall picks in consecutive years! Just tossed them out the window! Wasted on total talentless garbage! This year's pick Nesmith was chosen so high because of a 14-game stretch he got hot in! You don't waste the friggin pick on somebody was hot for 14 games! Prior to that he was a 34% three-point shooter! And because of a 14-game stretch they call him a sharp shooter? What because of a 14-game shortened season? you have to look at his whole resume. Like I said, Danny's head should be on a pike for that alone. The bizarre thing is the Celtics actually draft good when they're drafting in the second round. The Celtics do deserve credit for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown especially Jaylen Brown no one else had him that high. The Celtics have a great coach. They are not in that bad of shape for how poorly they played and will be in the mix come the end of the year. Mark my words.

For starters, the only way this team will win consistently is by running the other team into the ground, not by heaving three pointers all night...they should be getting more easy lay ups then they do...Ainge brought in Thompson and Teague who have brought nothing to the team...if they can be moved they should be dumped ASAP...we would be better starting Theis, G.Williams, Tatum, Brown and Walker and running...Stevens has no set rotation parading in bench players with no rhyme or reason...and refuses to trust the younger players except Pritchard...our top three off the bench after dumping Thompson and putting Theis back in the starting lineup must become Pritchard, Nesmith, and R.Williams, and keep running the other team into the ground...additionally, Stevens is horrible with in game adjustments, often looking like he's pulling his lineup changes out of a hat...and Tatum and Walker especially need to learn to move the ball on their ice cold nights, instead of forcing senseless shots...enough with the Covid excuses, the Smart is injured excuses...it's time for the two golden boys Ainge and Stevens to move...🤔

I’m sure my comment will be pushed to the bottom but I think it’s funny how the Celtics only get major attention when they’re struggling... but anyway, the biggest reason for their problems is not have Smart available. Everyone always thinks of his defense and rightfully so. But he leads the team in assists by a good margin and really makes sure everyone is in their spots in both ends of the floor. He’s the only one calling out plays other than Brad.

It is early in the season. The Celtics don't have a giant gaping holes. They have players who are young and tend to play Lazy at times. As bad as we've played last time I looked we were what 4 and 1/2 games out of first and only a couple games out of second. I'd rather have issues now than when the playoffs come around. There's absolutely no way they will miss the playoffs. And with the Personnel we have and guys getting healthier throughout the season and the younger guys becoming more acclimated to the offense and defensive schemes they will be a much tougher team come the end of the season. The East hasn't been this hard in years and I think they're just act limiting the Eastern Conference teams that actually play hard. We have two of the most solid guards in the league with Walker and Marcus Smart. We have good back-ups with Pritchard Jeff Teague and even young guys like Waters who won Rookie of the Year in G League last year. We have two of the best wings in the game and we are a little thin behind them but we do have the Personnel to step up if they will actually do their job and step up. everybody says we're stopped at Center but if you look at the statistics on Tice he's really actually one of the better centers in basketball. He's not a tremendous core or an amazing rebounder but if you take his all-around game and wins above replacement is actually a solid Center for his size. Robert Williams should definitely be playing better and hopefully by the end of the season will. you don't get many senators who can jump out of the building like he can. He's like a poor man's Zion Williamson athletically. I'm a little disappointed with the start that Tristan Thompson had to his season but we're fairly solid there if Thompson can play up to his potential. Are bent is a weak spot but with Pritchard playing very solid backing up the point guard spot oh, and I believe he could be equal is efficient at the two. A Romeo can play up to his potential and we can get even the slightest bit of help from Naismith they were both lottery picks they should be able to add something off the bench. we have the Personnel to Danny Ainge being pressured into going out and scooping up the savior for there season is ridiculous. he would only be pandering towards the fans in Media I think you stand Pat and make the guys you put the money and draft picks into work harder and do their job. my main point is the season is Young we're definitely going to be in the playoffs as Miami showed last year if you have the personnel and can get hot at the right time anybody can make the finals. and with the West being so soft who knows. What are we 25 games into the season or so? I think teams like Miami Toronto and the Wizards are underachieving in a much bigger way and too much Focus and shade is thrown Boston's way. the media and the fans need to relax and just have faith that the Personnel we have is terrific, the team was constructed very well. we do tend to draft poorly at times, but their last two lottery picks with Romeo and Nesmith can add anything at all they could have a very nice season from here on out. and who knows we have a 7 foot 6 Center that also shared Rookie of the Year honors. He's not just tall he's very long with his arms and could add the rebounding and rim protection bostonlax trying times and we need it. And anybody who's actually watched him play Taco Fall has a very nice offensive game building.

Except for that Raptors game, the heavy iso ball and lack of ball&player movement on the court is glaring; tells me two things: (1) stars don't have trust on others to make shots (except for a few, throwing bricks has been the case for most games this season) and (2) inconsistent lineups are getting everyone confused (a case of a team not having good role players and/or coach not having a consistent plan). Since Smart got injured, opposing teams has been attacking the guards. Switching with C's small guards, creating mismatches and others scrambling to help is wrecking havoc on the defense and every team capitalize. I feel like these losses should push DA to make moves which I hope he does, team needs size and physicality. Right now, we're soft.
