y are all the comments so negative? movie looks good (i mean i will have to see b4 i judge obvs, but still) - out of all the disney villains, she is one of ma faves (as far as villains go) and underrated ~~~~ - everyone is saying that she is the Harley Quinn of disney... well Birds of Prey wasn't... great... (let's just say that if they were trying make cruella into harley quinn status, then they will hopefully surpass the standards of Quinns depiction) it is likely that disney chose to do a movie like this because let's face it, they are running out of ideas and villain movies are typically well received ~~~~ - emma stone is amazing and rarely featured as a villain (i think this is an amazing role for her) ~~~~ - some are saying that there is a "lack of dogs" in the movie and it doesn't make sense.... i think this is her backstory of how she became who she was in the original 101 Dalmatians film soooo there wouldn't necessarily be dogs everywhere (and there are anyway in the trailer... it is about HER) ~~~~ - saying that "oh she only wanted to skin puppies" so she shouldn't be classed as a psycho... yeah okay but if you watch 101 Dalmatians you can see she lacks serious empathy for you know, puppies (arguably the "cutest" thing in the world, but in itself that is debatable). she goes to absolute extreme measures for a coat and has no concern for feelings of others, humans or animals which is why i assume they depict her as a psychopath in the movie (lacking empathy and reckless behaviour could be seen as common traits) ~~~~ (one thing i never got tho; why does she only want puppies? it is wrong in every way, not denying it, but surely adult dogs would have more surface area... blurgghhhh, getting off topic... anyway) ~~~~ - i'm excited so yaknow, even if it is shit.... i mean i'm gonna watch it and most people probs are that can so....
